The Institute of Neuropathology at the University Hospital Bonn is seeking to fill the following part-time position (19.25 hours/week) as soon as possible. The project-based position is initially limited to one year, with the option of extension:

Ihre Aufgaben
In clinical practice, many decisions depend on prior pathological findings. However, pathology is often taught in medical school without clear clinical context. To close this gap, we aim to develop a digital platform where students can explore neuropathological content via a 3D model of the Central Nervous System (CNS), a project funded by the Foundation for Innovation in Higher Education (Stiftung Innovation in der Hochschullehre; StIL, project 3003-1263).
For example, in a module on pediatric tumors, selecting a lesion in a certain region in the 3D brain model would reveal information about tumors typical for that location and age. Supplementary images, texts, and clinical case studies as well as interactive quizzes will support learning and application.
We invite proposals from teams or individuals with expertise in coding, digital education, (medical) visualization, and platform development.
Ihr Profil
- Ability to collaborate with medical educators and translate complex content into engaging, learner-centered digital formats
- Commitment to usability, accessibility, and technical reliability
- Timely and transparent communication throughout the development process
- Proven experience in developing digital models or learning tools, ideally within the medical or health sciences domain but not required. Expertise in interactive 3D visualization and/or educational software development
